7Up's animated red-dot mascots make three appearances in 1993's Super Bowl XXVIII, courtesy of creative by Leo Burnett, promoting the flagship brand (see also "Blinds") as well as Diet 7Up -- a repeat of the strategy from 1992 ("Oil Change," "Shave," "Switch").
7Up and its Spot characters returned to the Super Bowl the following year in Burnett's "House of Cards" and "22."
7Up first introduced the Spot mascot in 1987.
