Cedric the Entertainer pantomimes to a friend across a crowded bar that he can't have a beer because he's the designated driver in this Super Bowl XXXIX ad by DDB Chicago. Shades of the 1987 teen comedy "Can't Buy Me Love," a dance sensation is born.
"Dance" came five years after Bud's prior responsibility ad in a Super Bowl, the 2000 Wayne Gretsky spot "Zamboni." In Anheuser-Busch's next Super Bowl take on drunk driving, the 2016 ad "Simply Put," Helen Mirren took over the celebrity role.
