Chevrolet's “Car Wash” by Interpublic Group's Campbell-Ewald was based on an idea from Katie Crabb, winner of the Chevy Super Bowl College Ad Challenge. It features men of various ages and body types baring their chests as they dance and wash an orange-hued HHR filled with women. Even Times Square’s “Naked Cowboy” makes an appearance.
General Motors also promoted Chevrolet in Super Bowl XLI with "Ain't We Got Love," also by Campbell-Ewald.
Chevy would return to a consumer-generated contest for its 2012 Super Bowl ad "Happy Grad."
