Chrysler found its sense of humor again for Super Bowl XLIV after a few years of stern-faced lecturing and sermonizing and rallying -- some of which was moving and beautiful, but overall was getting a little long in the tooth.
This ad starts out with nonagenarians and centenarians offering sage advice. "I'm 100 years old and I want to tell the world what I have learned," says one Reginald Gooch. But 30 seconds in, they get downright sassy. "Keep your eyes open, and sometimes your mouth shut," says 100-year-old Dorothy Titleman, before the ad cuts to Fred J. Wild (also 100), driving a Dodge Challenger.
It's a cheeky -- and unexpected -- way for Dodge to mark its 100th year.
