Unlike Hyatt's extraterrestrial accomodations in 1985's Super Bowl XLIX ("Hotel in Space") , the first office on the moon doesn't have artificial gravity, leaving cubicle workers to struggle more than usual with paperwork, office coffee and the like. But it does have a reliable package delivery service.
One of a pair of FedEx ads in Super Bowl XLI (it would be followed in the third quarter by "Not What It Seems", "Moon Office" via BBDO New York is an excellent example of big-game advertising: It combines a premise, a pay-off, extravagant special effects and a punch line. FedEx and BBDO provided many such examples over the years, but 2007 would be their penultimate Super Bowl outing. "Carrier Pigeons" in 2008 would cap an 18-year streak of consecutive big-game appearances.
