Alec Baldwin wants to eat your brains in this spot by Crispin, Porter & Bogusky. Hulu, the evil plot to destroy the world (and a TV streaming service owned by TV networks), brings shows and movies straight to your portable computing devices. And there’s nothing you can do about it, because, as Baldwin knows too well, you’ll never turn off your electronics.
Hulu would be back in the Super Bowl three years later with "Huluboratory" another Crispin spot, this time starring Will Arnett. Baldwin, too, would return to the Super Bowl ("Baldwin Bowl," 2016).
Pay-TV services had advertised in the big game before. PrimeStar used Super Bowl ad time to promote its satellite TV three times in the late 90s ("At Last," "She Loves TV" and "Pipe").
