Super Bowl XXXIX brought another big laugh in Amber Bock and DDB’s "Rich/Smooth" campaign. This one, "Mood Music," had the smooth-but-not-rich hero putting on the moves in the middle of a Best Buy-like megastore. Michelob parent Anheuser-Busch also used the 2005 Super Bowl to promote Budweiser, Bud Light and Budweiser Select.
Directed by the prolific Tim Godsall, who directed American Legacy Foundation’s “Shards O’ Glass” in the Super Bowl a year prior and would direct Squarespace’s “Dreaming With Jeff” spot in the 2015 game.
