Another successful Pepsi spot from Super Bowl XXX, "Goldfish" finds a household pet named Sparky performing some pretty impressive tricks for a drop of its favorite drink. (Not water, go figure.)
The ad was created by Omnicom's BDDO New York, like the game's other Pepsi ads, including "Frozen Tundra" and "Security Camera." The Washington Post called it one of the game's more winning ads to involve computer-generated special effects, while New York Times ad columnist Stuart Elliott found the ensemble as a whole "fresh, fast-paced and fun."
In 2013, Anheuser-Busch InBev would bring another extraordinarily talented goldfish to the big game to introduce its Becks Sapphire ("Serenade").
