Persil ProClean - Game-Time Stain-Time

The Professional, the recurring mascot for Persil ProClean laundry detergent, emerges from the TV set at a Super Bowl party (shades of "The Ring") in the brand's third consecutive big-game spot.
The 2018 outing, courtesy of Omnicom's DDB New York, followed TBWA/Chiat/Day's "10 Dimensions" in 2017 and the 15-second "#1 Rated" in 2016.
It went up against an ensemble of Tide spots that broke through by adopting just about every ad convention viewers expected from other kinds of brands.
Unlike many advertisers in Super Bowl LII, both Persil ProClean and Tide did not release their commercials online before the game.
