The shoe company bought one 30-second spot to be aired just before the two-minute warning heading into halftime and used it to show a gazelle being pursued by a cheetah, only to be saved by a man wearing Skechers' new line of running shoes.
The spot was created by Siltanen & Partners, and was also one of many that debuted well ahead of Super Bowl Sunday in 2013.
