Not every Super Bowl ad is a long-planned, original extravaganza. Skechers began publicizing its Pete Rose ad on Jan. 29, the same day it said it finalized the buy, and provided the spot then too. It wasn't entirely new, but a pre-existing spot enhanced with a new ending and new shoes.
