Country singing sensation Faith Hill stars as herself in a Super Bowl XLV ad highlighting the floral collection she designed for Teleflora. She tries to counsel her sound tech on what to write on the card to go with his Faith Hill Teleflora arrangement for his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. (It doesn’t work.)
Given its proximity to Valentine's Day each year, the Super Bowl is often home to a Valentine's-themed flower-company ad. This one kicked kicked off a year-long collaboration between the singer and florist.
It was directed by “King of the Super Bowl” commercials Bryan Buckley, who has directed more than 50 big game spots, and created by internal shop Fire Station Agency.
Teleflora's previous big-game ads in 2009 and 2010 starred a gabby bouquet ("Talking Flowers" and "Mr. Warmth").
Teleflora would return in 2012 with a pitch more directly tuned to, well, sex ("Valentine's Night").
