TurboTax returned to the Super Bowl in 2018 to again take advantage of the dawning tax-filing season, this as part of a new-for-the-new-year fear-themed campaign.
Parent company Intuit initially said TurboTax would get one 60-second spot in the game, but wound up splitting the time into "The Thing Under the Bed" and its third-quarter sequel "The Noise in the Attic," both by Wieden & Kennedy. (Gallegos United worked on TurboTax's seasonal tax-prep campaign but not the Super Bowl ads themselves.)
The interface shown seems even more accessable than the SmartLook live video connection to TurboTax experts pushed in 2017's "Humpty Hospital," also by Wieden & Kennedy.
Super Bowl LII marked TurboTax's fifth consecutive big game appearance, dating back to "Love Hurts" in 2014.Send credit info to [email protected].
