Carmichael Lynch Names Marty Senn Chief Creative Officer

Marty Senn has been named the new chief creative officer at Interpublic's Carmichael Lynch. He replaces Dave Damman, who left the Minneapolis-based agency in July. Mr. Senn joined Carmichael Lynch in 2013 as executive creative director, working on Jack Links, Sierra Trading Post and BJ's Restaurants. The agency is most often known for its work on Subaru. "Marty Senn has established himself as a creative leader of the highest order, garnering every manner of recognition here in the U.S. and abroad," said Carmichael Lynch CEO Mike Lescarbeau in a statement. "In his relatively short time at Carmichael Lynch, he has forged highly productive relationships with key contributors from across our organization, and we look forward to the many ways he will help us grow." In April, Carmichael Lynch and GNC parted ways after a year. The same month, the shop won the U.S. Bank account -- a review the agency said was led creatively by Mr. Senn. Before Carmichael Lynch, Mr. Senn was a creative director at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, and before that, he worked at Cutwater, Fallon, Publicis West and Mullen. "It's a huge honor, and a responsibility I don't take lightly," said Mr. Senn. "I came here three years ago because I loved the people and the talent and the trajectory this agency is on, and I'm thrilled to get to play such a meaningful role in what comes next."
