Ad Age's 2015 Small Agency Awards: See the Winners

From Mexico City to Chicago, London to West Hollywood, meet this year's Small Agencies of the Year. Whether they have 150 employees or six, they're picking up AOR duties and significantly moving the needle for businesses of all types and sizes, including Big Lots, Target, Google and EA Sports. These are the small shops making a big mark with sometimes limited budgets and a lot of creative flair. O'Keefe Reinhard & Paul offers big-brand thinking often associated with large agencies, but without the impersonal feel that comes along with giant networks. With 147 people, the agency nurtures long-term relationships with clients including Alaska Airlines, T-Mobile and Amazon. Nine person agency wins hearts of clients Dropbox, Simply Hired and BART. With six employees, Battery has grown from its first client, Ouya, to work on campaigns for other big brands like Warner Bros. Noble People's clients include Honest Tea, FreshDirect and PayPal. Ten-year-old shop positions itself for the future with a new office and internship program. With 89 employees spanning two offices, Red Tettemer O'Connell & Partners has branched out in terms of its client diversity ranging from Dockers to Planet Fitness. The Tombras Group wins silver Small Agency of the Year for 76-150 employees. The down-to-earth charm at the Terri & Sandy Solution won over big-name clients like Walt Disney Co. and Gerber. New York-based Sylvain Labs' 20-person team works on campaigns for PepsiCo and Google, while focusing on innovation. Forty-two-person shop counts Google, Facebook, Netflix among its clients. Madison, Wisc.-based shop slam-dunked its "Welcome to Delicious" campaign for Culver's. At just 30 people, Minnesota-based Little represents some big clients like Target, Lowe's and Wells Fargo, among others. Each year one lucky nonprofit wins a pro bono campaign from this Jacksonville agency. Leadership credits Spin Master, Soffe, Interface and Primo Water wins to deepening client relationships and employees. McKee Wallwork works with "stalled, stuck and stale brands," says President Steve McKee. The staff at PMG, based In Fort Worth, has continually brought in more clients through referrals. Sister to Red Light Management, this Holywood-based agency has the secret sauce to good storytelling. San Francisco-based agency, with clients Del Taco, Dish Network's Sling and Google, emphasizes diversity. After a rehaul of its focus, Pollinate is looking to provide cusomtization to clients like Wilson Sporting Goods and Sur La Table. Portland agency strives for inclusive environment with "collective progression." The London shop comes up with ideas -- for Sainsbury's, Bacardi, and Mondelez--people want to spend time with. Check out the dancing dads. Argentina's Don (Spanish for "gift" or "talent") does it all, strategically and creatively, from presidential politics to cable TV sales. Elite SEM's secret to growth is "creating great lives for employees, making sure they're happy." From paid sabbaticals to Sterling Cooper-inspired lounges, working for Bohan Advertising comes with a lot of perks. In Mexico's "Soccer Gentlemen," Nomades and Tecate help fans juggle love lives with watching soccer almost non-stop during the World Cup. Heat's campaign for "Madden NFL 15" for EA Sports brings sales up 14%. Celebration of the best stories by nostalgic Volkswagen owners becomes a reality TV show in Mexico -- and they get their former cars back.
