Wix.com is harkening back to some of the most iconic Super Bowl commercials in its spot starring characters from DreamWorks Animation's "Kung Fu Panda 3." In the spot, the characters are looking for ways to promote Ping's Noodle Shop. Po thinks the best way is with a big commercial taking from some of the greats like Carl's Jr. "All Natural," Old Spice's "The Man Your Man Could Smell Like" and Budweiser's 1995 Frogs commercial. But in the end Po realizes, while a commercial is great, "it all starts and ends with a stunning website from Wix.com." "For our second Super Bowl appearance we went for a direct message: the first step to a successful business is to create a stunning website. With Wix, regardless of size or advertising budget, everyone can tell their own story," Omer Shai, chief marketing officer, Wix.com, said in a statement. "We wanted a spot that will resonate with the tens of millions of people who will see it. And how better than to give a nod to iconic Super Bowl commercials within our own ad." The 30-second spot, which is part of Wix's #StartStunning campaign, will air in the third-quarter of the game. The commercial, along with digital-only content was made in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation.
