Now in stores Luma and Leaf: The DTC skincare brand has found its first physical retail partner in Whole Foods, rolling out five of its SKUs in its stores. Luma and Leaf is the only new skincare brand Whole Foods is currently adding to its shelves, according to Beauty Independent. Blume: This DTC Canadian superfood latte brand recently rode the matcha trend all the way to U.S. Target stores, further expanding its American retail footprint. Blume’s other U.S. retail partners include health food grocer Erewhon. The Beard Club: Target aisles are also now home to this DTC beard growth and grooming brand’s products, as Beard Club shared on Instagram. Bankruptcy is “imminent” for Outdoor Voices, according to former employees who spoke with Sourcing Journal. The publication reported that Outdoor Voices plans to file for an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors (ABC) in the coming weeks. FabFitFun: The DTC subscription shopping box company has made its first acquisition, buying Petco’s PupBox—which is essentially FabFitFun, but for puppies. Instead of getting beauty products and clothing items in each box, members receive monthly pet care products, meant for a puppy’s life stages, according to its website. Rare Beauty: Selena Gomez’s DTC makeup brand could be exploring a sale or new investment soon, as she’s hired bankers to weigh offers for Rare Beauty, per Bloomberg. The singer and actress expects to remain involved with the business no matter the outcome, it reported.
