Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence: After the Los Angeles Dodgers’ move to disinvite the nonprofit to its annual Pride Night celebration received backlash, including from some of the MLB team’s own players, the Dodgers backtracked and reissued the invitation this week. The Sisters, an organization that promotes human rights and calls out sexual intolerance, was able to convince the team to reverse course following “thoughtful feedback,” “honest conversations,” and “generous discussions,” the Dodgers said on Twitter.
