See Amazon’s first brand campaign from 72andSunny

Amazon has a new agency on its brand roster. The retail giant began working with 72andSunny in January when it awarded the Los Angeles shop the project of a new brand campaign that begins running this week. Check out the latest Ad Age events and award programs Inspired by actual customer reviews, the new push includes two spots that promote Amazon’s retail business. In one 30-second video, a pregnant woman uses Amazon to purchase two bed tents for her rambunctious sons, who also share a room. “Bought a tent for their bed. Gave them a new world,” text for the five-star review reads. Another 15-second ad includes a five-star review for a wearable horse head. Both ads continue Amazon’s “Every day better” tagline, which has been running since last year. This is 72andSunny’s first work for Amazon’s retail arm, but the agency has worked with the company previously, including with the Prime video team and on Amazon’s Amp music service. Amazon has worked with other agencies for its brand campaigns including Lucky Generals, which handled the retailer’s most recent emotional holiday push. The ads, which were directed by Gary Freedman, will run in North America on TV, digital and social channels and via audio on Spotify.
