The door at Bohan Advertising is literally always open, because clients such as Dollar General get keycard access to the shop's Nashville, Tenn., building. From "Bohanaroo" pool parties and Sterling Cooper-inspired lounges to paid enrichment sabbaticals after 10, 15 and 20 years with the company, 75 employees get all the perks -- and devote 10% of their time to community efforts. But the "brand villages," multidisciplinary groups organized by industry, are what make Bohan shine.
"We don't have a fear of experimentation," said Kerry Graham, vice chairman and CEO, who said the shop did away with time sheets last year.
