Cannes winners—see the 15 golds in Film and Film Craft

Film was the original category at Cannes Lions, and seven decades later it remains one of the marquee competitions. What appears to be a limited lifestyle turns out to be a demonstration of the endless creative possibilities that even the smallest area can offer—a clever appeal to DIY home improvers. This Is Not a Game Movistar Entrant: VML Mexico City Director: Lucas Shannon, LandiaGold Lion, Film Latin American telecom Movistar focused on creating safer environments for video game players—particularly minors—in this seven-minute film, which shows a teenager in Mexico, played by a real person, being lured and recruited by a local gang by interacting with an unknown online profile on his video game. The campaign won 10 Lions in all, including Grand Prix in Film as well as Sport.
