Kevin Spacey Plays a New Jersey Mobster, Scotsman and More for E-Trade

Actor Goes New Jersey, Scots and English in Latest R/GA Spot

Editor's Pick

Kevin Spacey has already played a talent scout and discussed the future of beards for E-Trade. Now the actor shows off another facet of his versatility -- his talent for accents.

Going "off script" to demonstrate that E-Trade is all about seizing opportunities, Spacey hams it up in the roles of a New Jersey mobster, a Scottish mason and a patrician Englishman playing Shakespeare in the investment site's latest spot. (Spacey has, of course, famously played Richard III -- so is this is an audition for Macbeth, which is famously the inspiration for "House of Cards"?)

The spot, which breaks this weekend, is by creative agency R/GA and was directed by Steve Miller at Radical New York.
