TBWA/Chiat/Day L.A. helps to support the SoCal arts scene with this multiplatform campaign promoting Pacific Standard Time: Art in L.A. from 1945 to 1980. The program brings together more than 60 of L.A.'s cultural institutions to help tell the story of the birth of the L.A. art scene.
To help promote, TBWA has paired together influential pop culture figures and artists, starting with Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis, who teams up with artist Ed Ruscha in this video.
Future duos include Jason Schwartzman with John Baldessari, who discuss their mutual love of conceptual art, and Ice Cube with Ray & Charles Eames, discussing how their architecture and design has impacted the musician/actor's career. The films will be unveiled as the program rolls out over the next half year. The campaign also includes a website and print ads.
