Bad singers spread McDonald's joy in ad promoting McDrive, McDelivery and more
Everyday folks and McDonald's staffers sing Justin Timberlake's 'Can't Stop the Feeling' to promote chain's range of services
Editor's Pick
Everyday folks and McDonald’s team members come together to sing Justin Timberlake’s 2016 summer hit “Can’t Stop The Feeling!” in this joyous ad promoting the Golden Arches’ various services.
The spot out of TBWA/Paris shows vignettes of people digging into or serving McDonald’s food as they croon lines from the tune. Their performances are unpolished, many off-key and even downright bad, but their easy-going attitude staves off any potential cringe, even inviting viewers to join along.
The ad, directed by Vincent Lobelle of Iconoclast, promotes offerings such as McDonald’s table service, McDrive, McDelivery and more. It aims to show how seamlessly such offerings fit into its customers’ routines.
