Brother printers casts TikTokers as 'The Cartridge Family'

Campaign featuring personified ink colors will run as a digital series

Brother’s latest campaign focuses on printing, personified. The printer brand has put together "The Cartridge Family," a group of four comedic TikTokers who will each represent the four printing ink colors - cyan, magenta, yellow, and black.

The campaign, from WE Communications and Wild Factory, will run as a digital video series on the Brother website and shared across the TikToker’s social media pages. The influencers include Maya Murillo, Landon Moss, Ceara Jane O’Sullivan and Kara Morgan. They’ll all make additional content as their characters for their Instagram and TikTok accounts to promote the campaign.

The five, minute-long episodes of the mini-series revolve around office scenarios like meetings, phishing scams, working overtime, dealing with loud officemates, and coffee runs.

Brother isn’t the first brand to personify work-related tasks. In August 2021, search engine marketing company Yext created a 90s-themed reunion featuring actors as Cellphone, Keyword Search, Internet, and Storage.
