This campaign for QLED TVs gets (painfully) up close and personal
MullenLowe Singapore crafts a trio of amusing spots dramatizing PRISM+’s immersive experience

A good TV and sound system can make you feel intimately involved in the programming you’re watching. Sometimes too intimately involved.
For example, in a wacky new Singaporean campaign for PRISM+’s QLED Google TVs, a man watching a cooking show feels so immersed that he becomes the turkey being prepared by the chef. This gets especially awkward when the moment for stuffing arrives.
The campaign was crafted by MullenLowe Singapore, with three spots directed by Wuthisak “Un” Anarnkaporn from Factory01, who has developed quite the reputation for top-notch absurdist advertising over the past few years (including Ogilvy Bangkok’s acclaimed “Innocent Eyes” series for Monde Nissin’s Voiz candy bars).
A second, similarly outlandish spot involves a televised concert.
“Director Khun ‘Un’ is Thailand’s most sought-after creative, and after the pandemic-wrought interruptions we’re relieved to be able to finally work with him to bring much needed freshness into Singapore’s advertising scene, especially in support of one of Singapore’s fastest growing local brands,” said Daniel Kee, executive creative director at MullenLowe Singapore. “Humor is a delicate matter, and too often fumbled in the wrong hands. We are especially grateful to PRISM+ for taking a chance on expanding their marketing repertoire beyond its influencer-driven efforts—it speaks of a boldly optimistic and growing brand.”
The final spot is centered around a police procedural, with one of the two viewers absorbing the brunt of the violence in an interrogation scene.
The campaign will run in cinemas, on digital platforms and in-store.
