Chipotle and Wonderskin made a smudge-proof, green lip stain for National Avocado Day

If you have ever worried about your lipstick transferring onto your burrito, Chipotle and cosmetics brand Wonderskin have got you covered. The brands teamed up to make a lip stain dubbed “Lipotle” in honor of National Avocado Day this Wednesday (July 31). The limited-edition stain comes in a silver tube—a nod to the aluminum foil used to wrap Chipotle burritos. The stain applies like a lip gloss and is followed by spraying the Wonder Blading Activator to make the color smudge and fade-proof. The mask applies in a shiny green, but is then peeled away for a nude-pink lip color. The Lipotle Wonder blading lip stain kit will be available starting Tuesday (July 30) on wonderskin.com and eu.wonderskin.com. The kit retails for $29 USD (free shipping), $40 CAD (plus $5.99 shipping) and £28 (plus £3.99 shipping). In addition, Chipotle will be offering fans a free topping or side of guac with any entrée purchase on National Avocado Day, July 31. “With the popularity of mukbangs on social media, we noticed our fans are in need of a smudge-proof lip stain to enjoy their Chipotle on-the-go,” said Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle’s VP of brand marketing. “We teamed up with Wonderskin to create the most iconic guac and foil-inspired lip stain ahead of National Avocado Day.” This isn’t Chipotle’s first beauty collab. The chain partnered with e.l.f. Cosmetics in 2021 on an eyeshadow palette, lip gloss and bag.
