Dave Bautista, also known as WWE wrestler Batista and Drax from the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise, takes on yet another moniker in a new ad from Disney+: The Streamer.

The Streamer doesn’t smack anyone down or fight supers in outer space. He’s content to canoe on a quaint river with his device loaded with content. With luscious silver hair and a love for television by the campfire, Bautista’s character guffaws at “Modern Family,” practices his lightsaber technique during “The Mandelorian,” hoots and hollers for his favorite baseball team, screams at an episode of “American Horror Stories” and holds back a tear watching “Soul.”

“I’ve streamed every stream you can stream,” says The Streamer. “There are funny streams, dramatic streams, all kinds of streams out there. But there’s only one stream that has every kind of stream you could ever want to stream.”

It turns out he's referring to Disney’s streaming bundle that includes Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ and the stream puns flow abundantly for the rest of the 60-second spot, created by agency Erich and Kallman and directed by Arts & Sciences’s Mike Warzin. The ad is running during the Olympics as well as across other live TV broadcasts, digital platforms and social media.
