Friskies Teams with Buzzfeed for Endearing, and Funny Kitten Video

Purina's Friskies brand seems to have struck viral gold with this video, made in conjunction with Buzzfeed, in which a worldy wise older cat welcomes a new kitten to the household. The two and a half minute film, which has thus far had over seven million page views, is narrated by Ze Frank (online humorist and executive vice president of video at Buzzfeed) as the sage older kitty sharing his advice about the strange habits of humans, the dangers of the vacuum, and so forth. Even the sales pitch is done humorously -- the cat prefers the wet Friskies catfood to the brown pellets which, he assumes, is only being fed to him because the humans want to train him as an astronaut. Definitely a clever piece of online content.
