Take an Epic Roadtrip Across the Solar System in Latest 'Destiny' Trailer
Joseph Kosinski and Digital Domain Behind High Octane VFX-Filled Film

Viewers get a cinematic live action sneak pick at Activision and Bungie Studios' long awaited console game "Destiny" in a new trailer that calls on the talents of sci-fi and VFX heavyweights director Joseph Kosinski ("Oblivion" and "Tron:Legacy") and Digital Domain, also the team behind iconic game ads for Gears of War and other titles.
In the online film, from 72andSunny, we see a "Fireteam" (representing gamers) go on a roadtrip across the Solar System to the soundtrack of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song." It was filmed in Mexico, Arizona, and Utah to stand in for the future versions of our Moon, Venus, and Mars, and has an epic, cinematic feel.
"Destiny" is set to be released September 9. However, developers Activision and Bungie Studios have been handing out tasters ever since the first live action trailer for the game, directed by Jon Favreau ("Iron Man") was released back in May 2013. Last week they released an online campaign that gave viewers a Google Street View-style peek into the game's world.
