DoorDash seeks Dashers in new spot with a keys-eating mini-pig
Quality Meats worked with DoorDash’s in-house agency on an ad, which focuses on earning cash fast for unexpected expenses
Editor's Pick
Teacup pigs are unexpected. Teacup pigs who swallow house keys, even more so.
Which brings us to DoorDash’s latest commercial, in which just such an adorable swine does precisely that—as part of the brand’s entreaty to viewers to become Dashers (aka DoorDash deliverers) and pay for all those teacup-pig vet bills.
Quality Meats worked on the spot, titled “Unexpected Things,” with DoorDash’s internal creative studio, Superette. It’s part of the brand’s “Your Door to More” platform. (Onscreen text at the end says DoorDash is “Your door to cash when it matters.)
Quality Meats worked on another DoorDash spot, “Other Commitments,” which broke in May and profiled a working mom who’s able to fit Dashing into her busy schedule.

The new ad was produced by Furlined and directed by Paco Cruz, aka PACO. It will run on streaming and social platforms, as well as in Canada.
“At some point in life, we can all relate to that panic that creeps in when an expense just pops up out of nowhere, and you’re not sure how you’re going to pull it off,” said Julio D’Alfonso, Superette group creative director. “Whether it’s a home repair, a family event, or if your beloved pet teacup pig happened to accidentally swallow your house keys, delivering with DoorDash is an easy way to offset that and get things back on track.”
