DoorDash seeks Dashers in new spot with a keys-eating mini-pig

Teacup pigs are unexpected. Teacup pigs who swallow house keys, even more so. Which brings us to DoorDash’s latest commercial, in which just such an adorable swine does precisely that—as part of the brand’s entreaty to viewers to become Dashers (aka DoorDash deliverers) and pay for all those teacup-pig vet bills. Quality Meats worked on the spot, titled “Unexpected Things,” with DoorDash’s internal creative studio, Superette. It’s part of the brand’s “Your Door to More” platform. (Onscreen text at the end says DoorDash is “Your door to cash when it matters.) Quality Meats worked on another DoorDash spot, “Other Commitments,” which broke in May and profiled a working mom who’s able to fit Dashing into her busy schedule.
