KFC Invites Fans to Share Their 'Doubling' Fantasies in France

Campaign by Sid Lee Promotes Double Stacker Chicken Sandwich

To promote its new Double Stacker sandwich in France, KFC and its agency Sid Lee Paris dreamed up a campaign around inviting fans to dream of what things in life they would "double" if they had the chance.

The effort, which debuted during a France-Spain soccer match last week, centers on the idea that by just looking at the two-filet chicken sandwich, you'd start musing about what else you would double if you had the chance. During the match, KFC ran an ad, seen here, directed by Manu Payet, that features a group of friends sharing a meal in a KFC, looking at their Double Stackers and musing about what else they could double.

The agency and brand created the hashtag #JeDédoublerais (I would double) and fans were invited to log on to Twitter, where they found short videos by soccer players Giroud and Kurzawa encouraging them to tweet about their double fantasies. Over the course of the following two days, 3,000 fans tweeted in their hopes, and the most creative ideas have been chosen to be fulfilled.
