EasyJet manages to make plane travel look glorious in this gorgeously crafted spot
Spot by VCCP takes a journey through the clouds to Cat Power's version of 'Dreams'
Editor's Pick
EasyJet's latest brand campaign is almost enough to make plane travel look like an enjoyable experience (even if these days, it's usually anything but).
A beautifully crafted new spot, directed by Riff Raff Films' The Sacred Egg for VCCP, takes viewers on a journey through the clouds as a passenger stares out the window. The film's abstract collection of scenes weaves together wide-eyed swimmers, cloud sculptures, mountains and cityscapes and a miniature city within an inflatable pool float. The ad is set to the soundtrack of Cat Power’s version of "Dreams."
Lis Blair, chief marketing officer at EasyJet, comments in a statement: “This new brand campaign moves easyJet to a more emotional positioning as we continue our growth across Europe, using beautiful and imaginative travel imagery to inspire our customers.
It's part of an integrated pan-European brand campaign, and breaks on U.K. TV on September 14 during during Channel 4's "Gogglebox."
