Whether it's a friend or loved one, sometimes seeing someone's face can make all the difference -- something Skype understood and developed very quickly. In recent years, FaceTime has allowed iPhone and iPad users to speak face to face wherever they have an internet connection, bringing them a little closer to those they miss.
