Xfinity Launches Comedy Web Series With 'Catastrophe' Creator Sharon Horgan

'Glued' Is Themed Around a Binge Watching Couple

Xfinity has tapped into the talent of Sharon Horgan, actor and and creator of hit U.K. comedy "Catastrophe," to create a webisode series about a binge watching couple.

"Glued" was executive produced by Ms. Horgan and her production company Merman X Pulse in collaboration with Droga5. Starring real-life couple John Ross Bowie ("Big Bang Theory") and Jamie Denbo ("Orange is the New Black"), the show focuses on a married couple who discover a new hit TV show that everyone is talking about. Directed by John Riggi (30 Rock), the series then takes viewers on a comedic journey that includesthe discovery of a new show, barriers to watching (like children), the guilt of "TV cheating" on your spouse and the trials and tribulations of spoiler avoidance outside the home.

Glued began yesterday (June 21) starting with the release of four episodes on Xfinity's YouTube channel. The final two episodes will be released June 30.
