Going Inside with Walmart InHome
Description
Developed through Walmart’s internal Store 8 innovation department, Walmart InHome is an at-home delivery service that brings nearly everything you can find at Walmart into your home—and even into your fridge. Kingsland worked extensively with Walmart on InHome’s go-to-market strategy, messaging, and content. Originally launched in a few test markets, Walmart approached Kingsland to help create a series of videos designed for internal recruitment for InHome Associate positions.
Shot on location in Phoenix, AZ, these videos featured both InHome Associates and their real-life customers speaking honestly about their love for InHome. Walmart employees and InHome members both described the connection between Associate and customer as the most important and special aspect of InHome, repeatedly describing the relationship as “part of the family.” In Summer 2022, Walmart InHome was officially absorbed into Walmart+, Walmart’s subscription membership, and is rolling out nationwide.
