Italian sausage brand Johnsonville wants to underline that its brand is all about "sausage...and family" and in these new spots from Droga5, it puts a quirky spin on the portrayal of the traditional family. The spots create some amusing dips into "family" portraits -- whether, as seen here, it's the revelation that Grandma is a "handsome kind-hearted drifter who wandered in years ago," or whether it's a mobster neighbour, a son who won't leave home, or your work pal who didn't quite get the memo. The campaign will also include a forthcoming app called the Brat Signal, that lets family call family over sausage whenever they're grilling, and a Father's Day camapign centered on "Bratfast in Bed" -- encourages families to give Dad what he really wants and wake him up with beer and sausage.
