Carmela Soprano, Cersei Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen are not just famous characters from HBO's best-known shows; they're also moms. The network is highlighting that key role in a set of free greeting cards celebrating Mother's Day. 

Agency Wieden & Kennedy New York commissioned different illustrators to create the cards, which also feature characters like Hannah from "Girls," Maeve from "Westworld," Molly from "Insecure" and Selina Meyer from "Veep." Each includes a cheeky Mother's Day sentiment, reflecting that character's traits. For example, the "Game of Thrones" card for Cersei features the words "Happy Mother's Day to a mom who would kill for me. And probably has," while the Carmela Soprano card says "Happy Mother's Day. Don't ask me where I got the money for your gift."

The cards will be available (and free to the public) starting May 9 at the Bryant Park HBO store at 1100 6th Ave in New York, as well as at various pop-up locations around N.Y. and L.A.
