U.K.'s IAB Advises Kids How To Be Web Ad Savvy With Animated Film

The UK's Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) is behind this animated film which sets out to explain to kids how internet advertising works and warn them of some of the dangers. It's a difficult subject, particularly when your audience is web-savvy kids, but the video manages not to be entertaining and not too patronising by acknowledging that some of their knowledge about the internet and technology might be superior to that of their parents..but not all. The message is that if they follow the advice given, they'll become "Masters of Ads." The IAB commissioned animator Will Samuel to bring it to life, which he does cutely with mentions of cat videos, a fictional game called "Willy The Walrus" and more.
