Going to college, via Chrome.

Editor's Pick

Google Chrome moves on from stalkers for its latest edition of the long-running "The Web is What You Make Of it" campaign, created out of BBH New York and Google Creative Lab. "Jess Time" explores the bond between a father and his college student daughter. Regular stuff, but it gets heavier, because this relationship is happening in the absence of a mother. As on previous efforts like "Dear Sophie" and Thailand's "Soi Dogs," it's an attempt to loosen our tear ducts and get us wistfully clicking away at Chrome to send a message to our parents. Although we're not as inclined to reach for the tissue box on this one--overall the tone is more playful, and maybe babies and dogs wield more power over our waterworks than college students--the work remains charming, and perfectly pitched.
