Just Do It, Ladies
Nike and W+K London targets female athletes as part of "Endless Possibilities" campaign
Editor's Pick
Nike continues to celebrate 25 years of "Just Do It" with "Endless Possibilities, " the latest installment in its star-studded "Possibilities" series.
The new spot celebrating female athletes and directed by Adam Berg out of Stink continues to push everyday athletes to go beyond their personal limits. It stars a persistent protagonista who bends further, boxes harder, runs faster and lands a crazy gymnastic jump. Along the way, celebrities like British singer Jessie J and FC Barcelona (and singer Shakira)'s very own Pique serve as motivators.
Like the previous spot, which featured the V.O. of Bradley Cooper, the new ad stars a famous voice. This time, it's that of Ellen Page, who isn't the first to come to mind on the topic of "fierce athlete," given her iconic role as the thinky Juno. She gives an encouraging, verging-on-bubbly gal pal performance, one perhaps a little more Kotex--or at least Playtex Sport, than Nike.
