Louis Vuitton has joined the hordes of holiday advertisers with a glossy ad featuring two adorable mascot characters having a whimsical romantic adventure in a winter wonderland.

The film takes the form of a romantic comedy between Vivienne, a 3D version of the the brand's floral motif, and a teddy bear called LV who's adorned with the brand's logo. As they emerge from snowglobes, the bear follows the flower through a winter wonderland, past Louis Vuitton designer bags, jewelry, and perfumes before they are finally reunited. The soundtrack is "Happy Together" and the whole effect is pretty cute (we particularly like the flower on skis.) 

The spot, directed by Gary Freedman via French production company La/Pac, was filmed in Budapest using a mixture of 3D animation (the characters were fully modeled and animated) and live shooting. Another detail from the set: the featured Vuitton trunk set was built using more than 50 LV trunks, some of which were real museum pieces.
