Latest spot promoting Teams is a lighthearted look at the parenting juggling act

Today’s new reality of working remotely has provided the prime backdrop for Microsoft to highlight its Teams conferencing platform. Its previous ads have showcased how staffers at various organizations from the Metropolitan Police to L’Oreal have been able to seamlessly, successfully carry on with their work through Teams meetings. But what happens when you throw a stir-crazy kid into the mix?
A lighthearted new ad in the series celebrates Mother’s Day by showing how moms are “working in a new way” in the age of coronavirus. As female leaders conduct their meetings, their little ones sneak up from behind, rest their heads on Mama’s shoulder, brush her hair, brandish swords in the background, scream or just yank Mom away from the computer altogether.
Through it all, the mothers maintain their cool, whether they’re rolling their eyes or chuckling at the new normal. The endline of the ad reads, “To every mom doing their best, Happy Mother’s Day.”
