Mission Impossible
Description
After being briefed by the Abarth brand that there was a potential brand partnership between the new Mission Impossible film and Abarth, we instantly got to work. Both of these entities have similar spirits: adrenaline, ingenuity, and an action-packed heritage. Using the base of a car chase scene in the film as most of the commercial, we managed to produce a commercial that symbiotically connects the film to the brand. In the scene, a classic Fiat 500 is escaping an unidentifiable black car. This sequence leaned much more towards Abarth than Fiat, so we needed to find a way to transform the car into the new Abarth 500e. Through post-production techniques and visual illusions, we managed to do so in a way that was organic—leading to the final product of a commercial that advertised both the film and the new Abarth 500e. Mission Possible.
