Taiwanese laptop maker Asus has chosen the internet meme "birds with arms" as the theme for its first campaign targeting the U.S. market for its 2-in-1 Transformer Book T100. The company, which this month appointed Dutch agency Superheroes to launch it into the American market, released the first of three online films featuring various "birds with arms" getting on with the business of modern multi-tasking, like carrying coffee cups, hunting for a charger and being glued to tiny smartphone screens. Meanwhile, our narrator, a tufted titmouse (with arms), can get everything done with his Asus Transformer Book, because it's both a laptop and a tablet. Production company Minivegas helped perfect the birds with arms; viewers might find them creepy, or funny, but it's certainly different.
