"12 Years a Slave" director Steve McQueen has shot a new film for Burberry, promoting its Mr. Burberry fragrance with the story of a dirty weekend in London.
The video, which stars British musician and actor Josh Whitehouse and model Amber Anderson, portrays a gorgeous a couple getting passionate in a luxurious London hotel. As well as shots of the lovers standing romantically on a balcony overlooking the city, and posing in classic Burberry trenchcoats, there are some decidedly steamy bathtub scenes. The soundtrack, "I Won't Complain," is by British singer-songwriter Benjamin Clementine, who recently won the Mercury music prize.
The film is McQueen's first commercial project. He told The Telegraph: "I wanted to convey the idea of two people who are passionately in love and go off on a dirty weekend. It's that moment when all you're thinking about is each other, and all you want is to be with each other. It was about passion and sex."
