MySpace : New Logo

On Friday at the Warm Gun design conference in San Francisco, MySpace unveiled its new logo, which conspicuously replaces the "space" in the company's name with a "blank" symbol, and loses the three figures on its left as well as the "places for friends" tag. It also uses what appears to be a Helvetica-inspired typeface. According to MySpace VP User Experience Mike Macadaan, "the new logo acts as a vessel, an empty stage" for users to show off who they are and what they're into.
