Woodland creatures come to the rescue of a park ranger who loses a lottery scratchcard in a charmingly whimsical ad from the New York Lottery promoting its seasonal Scratch-Off Games.
Created by McCann New York, and featuring CGI animals courtesy of The Mill, the spot sees the ranger being given a scratchard by her boss as she heads home for the holidays. It flutters out of her truck but a series of animals including a hare, bird, tortoise, deer and a raccoon work together to deliver it back to her in a kind of woodland relay. The tagline asks you to "believe in the magic of the season." It's simple enough, but utterly heartwarming.
