Palace Skateboards Spoofs Old-School German Sportswear Ads to Promote Adidas Partnership
Another Funny Parody From MPC Creative
Editor's Pick
Earlier this year, cult London skateboarding store Palace Skateboards engaged Jonah Hill to star in a hilarious parody commercial in which the Hollywood star (a fan in real life) unenthusiastically pitched the store.
The brand is now back with another funny effort from the same team, Lev Tanju, Stuart Bentley and Stuart Hammond at MPC Creative, this time promoting a sportswear collaboration with Adidas.
The new spot spoofs old-style German sportswear ads from the '80s, with a man playing a game of squash by himelf on a dark and smoke-filled court. There's a solemn German voiceover too, and lots of sweating, groaning and panting, as we watch the word "Adidas" spelling out "all day I dream about sportswear."
