BMF Sydney continues its humorous campaign for Aldi Australia in this holiday spot, which contrasts the balmy "Aussie Christmas" with the traditional Northern-hemisphere holiday images we're all familiar with. The story centers on Johan, a villager in some unspecified snowy land who returns from Australia and regales the shivering villagers with wild tales of kangaroos, surfing and cricket, and most damningly: Summer Christmas. When the village elders rush to his home armed with torches for a confrontation, they're converted by that most Aussie of food items -- a barbecued prawn. Directed by Gary Freedman of Glue Society, it's all amusingly done.
